Course Description

The information age has fundamentally challenged many of the assumptions inherent in implicit and explicit structures that govern cultures and societies. With a strong basis in the theory and practice of computing, students will explore in depth a topic area and examine how computers have changed the world, how the world has changed computers, and what we are going to do about it.
