Language Exchange and Partnership

Course Description

The Language Exchange and Partnership course offers international students cross-cultural communication opportunities for second language development and cultural engagement. The focus of the course is on international students who are enrolled in the university's specially tailored study abroad program. Students from two different language backgrounds will be partnered to practice their communication skills and to develop an understandinding of the traditions and customs of the country where the target language is spoken. The course is designed to help language learners develop fluency and increase their confidence in speaking in a second language by interacting in a learning environment that is venue-independent and by promoting collaborative work through linguistic and cultural exchange.
