Course Description

This course equips students with skills to forge artistic connections with professional artists, museum curators and exhibition preparators, and the greater art community. Coursework centers around developing creative projects, setting up a studio, and public speaking about your artwork and professional artwork. Projects include preparing for, hosting, and reflecting on Studio Visits with professional artists; researching and writing introductions for professional artists as part of the 'Art Now' Visiting Artist Series; preparing for and hosting museum professionals in your studio; and hosting an Open Studio event.
