Psychology and Law
Course Description
In this course, we will examine how psychology interfaces with legal issues. Topics we will explore include: criminal responsibility, eyewitness memory and testimony, jury selection and jury decision-making, the insanity defense, involunary civil commitment, forensic evaluation in cases of child sexual abuse, false confessions, profiling, and child custody determinations.
