Course Description

This course integrates knowledge from core computer science areas, challenging students to design, develop, and present a comprehensive software or computing project. Working in teams, students will apply programming, algorithms, and system design principles to solve real-world problems. Students will learn about the software development lifecycle and practice effective team management skills. Students will have the opportunity to evaluate the use of AI for various tasks during the project development process. Projects culminate with a presentation to faculty, peers, and alumni, showcasing technical expertise and problem-solving skills. This class should be taken in a student's final semester of the Master of Science, Computer Science program.
