The primary purpose of this course is understanding the process and tools for defining and implementing strategy. Strategy, as we will conceptualize it, is the route to long term competitive advantage and superior organizational performance. During the semester, we will use many different approaches to examine strategy across industries, geographies and time. Participants who apply themselves in this course should expect to confidently:. Enact the entire strategy process, including:. Analyzing a situation in a structured way,. Developing a variety of different and creative alternatives,.
