Program Description

The Doctor of Jurisprudence, a professional degree that generally takes three academic years (six semesters) to complete, is a common prerequisite for the practice of law in the United States.

Willamette Law does not offer a formal part-time program, but students taking fewer than 10 credits are considered "part time" and pay tuition based on their class schedule. Students intending to start their studies at Willamette as a part time student are subject to the course sequencing requirements in this section, as well as to all academic requirements and regulations applicable to any Juris Doctor student.
